Its rather amazing to read about one`s own father (the flight engineer ) nearly 70 years after the event and 5 years after he died. He loved his time as a flyer, loved to talk about it and attended all the 625 sqn. re-unions until ill health forced him to stop the long trek from the north of Scotland to Lincolnshire. Well done. |

Well done Alan, Uncle Lols mini biography looks great and I am sure Mum would have been very pleased with the way you have put it together. Congratulations to all involved with the website it is a real credit to you all . I really didn’t know what to expect when it was first mooted but I have to say I am thrilled with what you have produced and as I am still researching my family’s history will add any further info if relevant, keep up the good work , kindest regards, Laurie |

Great site gents. Never really read much about WWII, or bomber command, but this has whet my appetite. Keep it coming! |
